That is a question I get asked almost every day when I am out on my ride.

I’m sure they ask because I always wear a long sleeve top even in this silly 35c heat, I just smile and say only if I slow down gives me a good excuse to go fast as possible.

It amazes me that people think that I have not thought about my actions I have.

I know my limitations what I can and can’t do I also know the signals from my body when it is unhappy.

As I am sure the person who asks me knows about themselves, so it always stumps me why people feel the need to give unsolicited advice to people they don’t know and have no idea what that person is capable of.

It could be that it makes them feel important or something and while part of me appreciates there words another part just goes oh shut up I know me and you know you we are not the same.

After these situations I always reply them in my head from both sides maybe that is why I struggle to switch my brain off .
